Twin pumpkins, study oil on canvas, 5x7

I found these pumpkins at a place called Honeysuckle Farm in Springfield, TN. I knew when I saw them I had to paint them!

Liz Hume: Painting is my passion. I fell in love with painting when I was in college. After I graduated, I didn't paint for a few years. But I read a book called "The Artist's Way" when I had writer's block, and realized what I really wanted was to paint. So I stopped pursuing my songwriting dreams and focused on my art. I decided to go to art school in Italy to learn how to paint like the old Masters. I was only able to afford one semester and a summer workshop, but I absorbed as much as possible while I was there! Now I am back home, painting on my own. I have sold several paintings and done a couple of portraits since returning from Florence. One of my paintings was accepted into a group show at the Frist Center in Nashville. I feel like I am just at the beginning of what I hope will be a long art career.
